Races2U began when founder and president Warren Peck bought his son a traditional slot car track for his 5th birthday. They had so much fun with it that they decided to expand their set.
After learning Formula 1 would be coming to Austin and finding out about digital slot cars, Warren started operating out of a concession trailer in 2010. That first track was mounted to the floor, and racers had to stand outside the trailer, but it was a runaway success.
Less than a year later, they added a second trailer, and in 2012 they opened a brick and mortar store that remained open until Covid. Since then, Races2U has gone back to its roots as a mobile-only offering.
